Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Planning a wedding can be exciting and stressful at the same time, but one thing you don’t want to overlook is your beauty and skincare regimen. As a bride, you want to look and feel your best on your big day, and that requires some planning ahead. In this “Note From Your Esthetician”, we’ll discuss why starting your beauty and skincare treatments in advance is important and the timeline you should follow.
Starting early is key
As the saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” and the same applies to your beauty and skincare routine. You can’t expect to achieve your desired look overnight, and that’s why it’s crucial to start your beauty and skincare treatments well in advance. Ideally, you should start your beauty regimen at least six months before your wedding day. This gives you enough time to try different treatments and products, find what works best for you, and make any necessary adjustments
6 months out: Microneedling, Injectables and a home routine.
Microneedling and injectables such as Botox and fillers can help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging. However, these treatments take time to work. You should start these treatments six to twelve months before your wedding day to ensure that you achieve the desired results. This way, your skin will have enough time to heal, and you will have time to adjust to the changes. A professional esthetician will guide you on the best treatments and products for home use to better your treatment results. They will also monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan as necessary to ensure that you achieve the best
3-6 months out: Brows & Mild Peels
Eyebrows are an essential part of your overall look, and growing them takes time. If you want fuller and more natural-looking brows, you should start growing them three to six months before your wedding day. Instead also a great time I add in mild chemical peels and at-home retinol or glycolic acid treatments that can help rejuvenate your skin by removing dead skin cells and stimulating collagen production. However, these treatments take time to work, and you may experience some redness and flaking initially. Starting these treatments three to six months before your wedding day gives your skin enough time to heal, and you will have achieved the desired results by your wedding day.
1-3 months prior to your wedding.
As your wedding day approaches, you want to focus on keeping your skin hydrated and free of irritation. We like to incorporate our 90 minute facial treatments that utilize LED light therapy and micro currents to lift, tone, brighten and sculpt your face. At this time we will also eliminate any harsh products from your home routine and opt for products that are gentle and hydrating.
You are almost there and you have worked so hard. You are radiant and glowing. Best Wishes! 🍾
